Evening Street Playground clean up (and rockets!)

The April 2019 Pack meeting was part community service & part fun.

Ms. Rykowski , Evening Street Principle, asked Cub Pack 333 if we could help clean up the playground: litter pickup on the grounds, mulch sweeping, and weeding. Everyone did their very best with the cleanup tasks, sharing tasks and working in small teams. Even though some of the Cubs found it hard work, after seeing the fruits of their labor, they were pleased with the end result! It's always good to be proud of your school.

Then it was rocket building time! Each Cub, using craft paper and rocket templates, built their own paper rocket and then got to launch it using a pneumatic rocket launcher! Much fun was had in seeing who could get the highest and longest launch.
