Dec 2019 Pack Hike at Highbanks Metro Park
Sun Dec 15th 2019, around 40 or so people gathered at Highbanks Metro Parks for an afternoon hike on the (almost) 3 mile long Dripping Rock Trail.
The weather, for mid December at least, was perfect! Chilly, overcast, but perfect for a hike.
Everyone had fun, and everyone behaved themselves; all showing respect to other trail users and practicing 'Leave No Trace' principles.
We planned to hold a monthly pack hike after this, but winter weather and then covid restrictions put things on hold. Hopefully 2020 will jumpstart plans again.
